we stand for instigating innovation and making an impact

01 / 06

We all know the cost of living in Santa Barbara can make enjoying life here a hurdle. Our staff is paid more than minimum wage, and all our prices include 15% gratuity. We also offer benefits that rival some of the biggest companies in the world, and dedicate resources to developing our people.

02 / 06

We pledge a portion of our quarterly profit to addressing our biggest concerns: systemic racism, the patriarchy's effect on women's reproductive rights, the safety of people of all gender identities and sexual orientations, the housing and homelessness crisis, climate change, and access to mental and physical healthcare.

closing the socioeconomic gap

03 / 06

Local laborers and skilled tradespeople, and service industry employees pay less, in an effort to close the socioeconomic gap in Santa Barbara. Mention at checkout for 10% off.

no upcharge for alternative milks

Your oat milk is on us. Meaning, we won't penalize you for your personal preferences — let alone allergy or sensitivity.

woman-owned + led

05 / 06

We're a woman-owned and led business, and we prioritize supporting other woman-owned businesses. From coffee beans, ceramics and snacks, to consulting with experts — we continue to support woman-identifying businesses with every opportunity.

repurposed pucks

06 / 06

We recycle, repurpose, and reuse our coffee pucks, donating them to local compost piles, farms, and gardens, and even using them as fabric dye. You can always take some grounds home with you, anytime you stop by the bus!
